In praise of too small cars and too large car seats!
My lease is up on my car in March, and I've been shopping around for a SUV for a few months. I had it narrowed down to the Acura MDX and the Mercedes ML350, figuring we'd start negotiating price after the holidays.
What we didn't realize was that Nicky's car seat, when installed in my car, pushes the front passenger seat up so far that no one can sit in it! I love my car, so I figured I'd just deal with it for the time being (I still can't drive, so it didn't really matter much).
To my surprise and delight, Patrick and my dad snuck out to do a bit of car shopping, and now I'm the proud owner of a 2004 MDX!!![]()
It's being built next week, and I should have it by New Year's. I can't wait! Patrick even remembered that I wanted black interior and exterior, and the options I wanted.
Now Nicky and I will be cruising in comfort!![]()
