I noticed that most of you were on the pill then went off and got preggo pretty quick. I've been off the pill since Sept. and have only had 4 periods. Now, once again I am 2 1/2 wks late (no, not preggers) and wonder if this is normal?? I spoke with my dr and she said that is can take up to a year for the body to get back into a routine. Has anyone had any similar problems??

Re: In responce to WhatNow's post... BC pill ??
I was on bcp for many years because I had very bad periods.Since I stopped taking them, every month is different.Sometimes I get it after 24 days, sometimes 35 days. I was always like that so mine may stay that way.Yours may resume to a regular schedule if thats what you were like before.

I know a lot of girls take a while to get readjusted after being on BCPs. Can I suggest that you begin to chart? That can really help you figure out when you are most fertitle. Many of us, especially if you just come off BCPs after many years, do not ovulate on Day 14, like many people/books have you believe. Charting helps you know what your schedule really is.

Re: In responce to WhatNow's post... BC pill ??
I stopped taking BC pills in January due to a blood clot in my leg and pelvis. I have had my period only once since then, immediately after I stopped taking them and nothing since. *Doing the happy dance*. Not pregnant though, but couldn't be since I had a tubal ligation after my 2nd child. My doctor told me that everyone's reaction to stopping is different. I would take Michele's suggestion and start charting if you are TTC.

I'm keeping track of my 1st day everytime I get it. What else do I need to do to chart?
