I have two friends who go to Mario Badescu's spa to get their arms waxed. They a wax that is for sensitive skin and the arms come out looking great and soft.

If she intends to keep waxing then fine, but if its a one time deal, she may not like it

Actually, since I've been waxing the hair on my monkey arms has grown back much finer and sparser!

I usually just wax them in the warm weather or for special occasions where my arms will show!

I think when you wax, b/c you pull the hair out by the root, it actually kills it after a while.

I've been waxing my arms for about a year, and LOVE it. (I tried waxing them at home, but it's not worth the mess and time, IMO) Definitely do it.
