There is a place in downtown the Brooklyn area. It's on a corner too - like Fulton/Lafyette by the Atlantic Center mall & A & G train stop - Fulton Street stop.
I went there once and it hurt so bad I never went back though. I can't take threading. I went back to wax.

I go to a place on 36th St just off bway between bway and 5th. Or, it could be 35th st -- it's just past the pronto pizza place.

I go to a wonderful threading salon in NYC. It's on Park Avenue South between 23rd/22nd street on the East Side of Park South. I think it's called Ultimate Threading.

I go there too - it's the best I have found.
It's called 'A perfect Shape'
and eyebrows are $6!!
For the record, I find threading to be far better than waxing.

I second the Perfect Shape. They do a great job, are inexpensive and you're in and out very quickly. If you go I think 10 times you get one free.
There's also this place Shobha in Soho and also somewhere uptown on Madison. They're more expensive ($20) but the ambience is better and they take a little more time. They also put fresh rosewater on after they finish, which is nice if you want to pamper yourself.

Nope, you just go in and someone helps you. It's funny, actually, because I'm usually there in the early afternoon when it's empty and when I walk in I just sort of stand there until someone motions me over to their station.

It's so quick - me and a few other girls from the office always go at lunch. It only leaves you red for a few minutes, if at all.
Where do you work?

I went to the NY Threading Salon whici is at 795 Lexington Ave, 2nd floor. It's between 61st & 62nd.
I only went once because it hurt so much. I too went back to waxing.
