i currently have a black & decker dust buster and the thing is totally worthless. i charge it whenever i am not using it (only about 2x a week) and the damn thing still runs out of power after about 10 min of use.
any recommendations for a hand held vac that actually works?

We got this off our registry--$60 but it seems really good so far for cleaning the cars and everything!

The SHARK! That thing is powerful ... I actually use it to dust my picture frames!

There is no doubt about it - The Shark - is the best handheld vac/dustbuster type out there.
The dustbuster NEVER works. Mine worked for about 1 week and never did again. You charge it and it dies on you in 3 seconds!
I hated my shark vac! Threw it away already......and i got the new powerful dustbuster $60 too and it is sooooo good...i love it.
I had heard a lot of people tell me they had problems with their shark too....weird to see so many people here love it....
