In search of Father/Daughter song... (long!)

I need some help ....

Without going into gory detail ... I have this really weird relationship with my dad. We are more friends than anything else. And sometimes not even that! Besides which, I'm about 40 yrs old. The usual 'daddy's little girl' songs don't really apply here. I feel really awkward about this -- and I am almost ready to scrap the whole idea.

Still - I want to try and do the right thing and have the father/daughter dance. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what to do. I know that my dad likes to dance to C/W music. He's really good at it. I don't think a waltz would go over too well with him. As for me - I can do a two-step if it's not too fast!

I am trying to find a C/W song that is reasonably emotional (but not too!!) and can apply in this weird situation.

Any ideas??
