I dont know what to do... heres some background. i tried on a ton of dresses and at the last place i went to i was talked into (by dress ladies and my mom) into a dress i really didnt like off the shelf becuase i could make the changes i wanted to it. so i did but a part of me still really didnt like it.. specifically the front and the bottom.
Well now its in and i went to see it and i liked the changes but still wasnt in love. I dont feel like a beautiful bride and im not excited about it like i feel i should be
so i dont know what to do??? should i see if i cen start over and get another dress? has anyone done this? did you loose all the money you already paid? even if i get it at the same place? or should i see what the alterations lady can do to my dress and pay more money or should i just suck it up and deal beucase i realllly cannot afford to waste or spend anymore money?
what would you do?

where did you get the dress from???
if you are stuck with the gown, maybe the seamstress can alter it so that you love it?? ..Do you have an idea of what you want?? Can you bring her pictures???

ok so i just dont like the front at all but specifically in picture 2. the 2 rows of beading bothers me and the 2 rows are actually on a piece of sheer fabric, so when you look at it it is 2 different fabrics on the dress its so hard to explain and you cant tell in the pictures but i just wish they could remove the top row sheer piece but she said she cant becuase it will leave a mark on the dress.
I remember you posted this the other day, and I just thought it was beautiful! Truly! I think it looks gorgeous on you. But what matters most is how you feel in it, and if you don't feel great in this dress, then it can't hurt to look around. Just think about it a little more. You might find when looking at other dresses that you actually DO love your dress ... might just be a delayed reaction.

i think the dress is beautiful.... but i agree, you need to feel gorgeous in it ... so whatever you need to do ...but again, i think its beautiful and looveee the beadwork!!

i think the fit is flattering on you and it IS a pretty dress...it is NOT ugly. but like another poster said...if you dont like it then you just dont like it and you wont feel pretty. maybe go to davids to look for dresses since they are a little cheaper?

aww thanks, i did post the other day i was excited it was in and wanted to show it off i got really sweet responses but am still really dissapointed that i still wasnt in love with it. I like it wayyy better in the pictures, in person not so much mostly becuase of the fabrics. maybe ill go talk to them

i honestly think it's a beautiful and dress and you look fantastic! but, you have to be happy, if there are minor changes that would make you happy and LOVE it i think it's totally worth it. it might be a lil extra $ money, but you only get to be a bride once, you def should love ur dress!

I also agree with the other posters. I think your dress is beautiful and maybe you can talk to the alterations person and they can make it into something you LOVE. Maybe if you try it on with the whole Bridal look,(veil, do your hair kinda how you want it the day of, makeup) it would change your mind?

I think the dress is beautiful... however if you don't feel beautiful in it.. then I think you should follow your heart and find somethng you do feel beautiful in.. Maybe you can fnd something off the rack or a sample that you love and work from there? or ask the wedding salon where you bought it if there's anyway then can you work with you to help you find your dream dress.. I ordered a dress, but cancelled WAY before it came in, we lost $1400 out of 5K and it was a BIG to do but I ended up with the dress of my dreams!!!!! I know it's hard but now that it's in, its really difficult to get another dress unless you have the funds to do so. Good luck, try to see what you like about the dress and go from there. If you need anything FM me!!!
ETA: I just saw you in your dress and you look beautiful its a very pretty dress, but ultimately it's your choice, know that you DO look like a beautiful bride!!!

This is JMO and what I would do...I know it would suck to loose your money but how you feel on your wedding day should be above all, the most important thing. This is your day and like so many brides say, photography is very important because that is what they have left when everything is over so if you are going to look at your pictures and feel like crap and feel not your absolute best on your day, then I would just change dresses even if money was lost.
Since you have ordered that dress, have you seen any others you really loved? Do you have an idea of your perfect dress?

Your dress is beautiful, but I know what you're going through. I am going through a major 'I hate my dress' period right now. I think it's mainly because I am not enjoying how it's fitting me
ETA: I love so many things about your dress, particularly the beading and the buttons down the back. I love how it incorporates lace as well! You look gorgeous but go with your gut.... can they make any other changes before you decide to eliminate the dress altogether?
