we did tip generously to those that we felt really deserved it as i said, the hair and makeup people charge what they think they are worth - i did tip them but not the way i tipped other vendors
we generously tipped:
Band DJ maitre'd bridal attendant
somewhat less generously tipped: photo / video (cant see the finished product) but still tipped them nicely hair makeup

i def plan on tipping all those well (besides my issues with maitred's hahaha)
hair and makeup I just dont know exactly what to do with that.. since they are coming to my house I def want to tip them, i would feel funny not- i just dont know how much

i totally understand that i just didnt tip AS MUCH since they were working off the books, for themselves; not for a salon
i paid for me, my sister, my mom and aunt and i think i gave the hair girl about 60 bucks i tipped her generously at the 2 trials that i had and my mom, aunt and sister only had blow-outs; no updos
makeup i tipped slightly higher - about 100 bucks for the 4 of us; 20 bucks a person

thanks.. im guessing ill prob give about 200 -240 since its 6 people hair 6 people makeup (2 girls doing it) thats about $20 pp

i think i gave her $150 it was about 3 in the morning and i was slightly intoxicated but i also remember DH shoving money into my hands to give her LOL
