In the holiday spirit

so i just purchase my first gift, and was wondering if anyone else has started there shopping

This year, I cannot even THINK about Christmas until I get back from my HM in mid November! Usually, I would have started my shopping already. I think this year the gifts will be small and less plentiful as well.......

i got dave his first christmas present in August...

didnt start thinking about that yet i just cant wait for our wedding, its getting closer

i'm usually VERY on top of Christmas gifts!!!! I'll buy somebody something as early as July if I happen to see a gift they'd love. But otherwise, i usually start officially shopping Late October, Early November. My attempt is to always be FINISHED weeks before Christmas.

This year, however, there's not going to any gift exchanging on my part. With my wedding only 2 days after, there's no way i'll have ANY extra spending money. Which is ashame because i LOVE giving gifts!! I'm really good at finding people the perfect present. lol.

Yes. We made a tentative spreadsheet of the people we'll be getting gifts for this year, tentative budgets, and possible ideas.

When we were at Sam's Club this weekend we picked up something for our siblings -- they had these fancy liquor gift sets. Grey Goose came with a full sized bottle, a GG cocktail shaker and a cool box, and it was the same price as a bottle by itself -- something like $27 or $28. We got one for my sis, and one of BILs and we got other BIL the jack daniels set (it was about $35 and had a large bottle of jack, and a jack daniels flask in a gift set). We'll get them each something else too, but thought they would like those. Worst case, we can give them to other people if we find something else we like better.

Also bought a purse I always wanted that I found online, which we might count as part of my holiday gift.

Well I normally don't start until November but this weekend I picked up my first two gifts....

A coach bag for my little cousin -- she really wanted one and I got a great deal at the outlets

and FH and I purchased ourselves a new television!!!!!!!
