trial run for Thankgiving - let's hope this is not a total disaster!

I've made apple pie before (actually make it every year for the holidays) but I just bought this mini apple pie mold from William-Sonoma and I'm testing it out because I thought it would be cute and different. I'll let you girls know how it goes - smells delicious in my house though


EDIT: first 4 came out pretty good. This mold isn't the greatest for actually pressing the edges together well so I had to folded the edges over myself to get them to close properly. Apart for the one I obviously put upside and one that had a little filling leak out - i think they came out pretty good! and one is a an equivalent (or a tad bit more) than a slice of regular pie!

well I just ate one and they are so frigin good - I didn't even wait for the sucker to finish cooling off.

I just made the rest of the filling I have and I think I'm gonna drop some off at FIL's - FFIL loves my apple pie

the ice cream was the one thing I was missing just now and it would have been perfection!
