It's at least more interesting than popping Midol all day. New on the menstrual-cramp solutions scene is the Vipon, a vibrating tampon (get your mind out of the gutter!) that aims to ease the pain of menstrual cramps. A regular old cotton tampon is fitted with a motor that shakes with comforting frequency. A battery pack worn outside the body powers the device, which is said to give a 'soothing sensation' and have 'no unwanted side effects.' No word yet on 'wanted' side effects. I think I am the only female on the planet who has never used a tampon. It is pads for me. I am the most paranoid, scared person on earth about certain things.

Last March we were in Miami... And it was a party vacation. WMC..
Anyway my period came.. And I was in a string bikini..
So my gf said lets use a tampon. I was BOMED by the pool.. So I said Ok..
Never using one IN MY LIFE I took one of her's and attemped to put it in.. I didn't tell her but it KILLED me all day.....................................
When we went back to the room I told Ronnie and I was so scard.. Needless to say I put it in without taking it out of the plastic thing. and I pushed it in so far there was no string..
AT this MOMENT I knew ROnnie and I were bonded forever.. He had to get tweezers and find the string and pull it out..
PAIn and Tears..
NEVER AGAIN..
PADS FOREVER!!!

I'm a pad girl too. I'm also paranoid about tampons. I had it in one day for a few hours longer than i wanted, and i was freaking out cuz i was afraid I'd get TSS. You probably can't get it from just having it in for 8 hours, but I couldn't wait to get it out.

I used to be pads only!! but one day i wanted to go in the Pool so badly with everyone else i was like 20.. so my girlfriend gave me a kotex curved tampon...it was great i didnt even feel it.. then thy stopped making them and i had to switch, but i will NEVER use cardboard!! OUCH!!
