in what order?

ok i booked my RH. what am i supposed to do next? photo? dj? dress? limo? i know flowers are after i get the dress right?

i feel that i should know this since 20 million people are giving me advice every day

are you getting married in a church? if so i would book thatto make sure church is alsoavailable for that date.

As far as order, everybody does it in different orders. Some book limo's before flowers others vice versa. BUt i would stick to important vendors first like photo and dj. Flowers is easier bc a big wedding florist can do more than 1 wedding at a time so not like you cant use them if another bride with same date is using them.

photo/video
dj
flowers
dress
limo
invitations
bm/gm
everything else.

that was my initial plan.....but i ended up getting the dress first (cuz im impatient), then the RH, then Photo/video, and now i'm meeting with DJs and florists.

Yes! I waited to long and the time I wanted was booked so we had to get the later time and it was cutting it close. As for everthing else we are all different. I would do Vendors next to make sure they have the date you want.

I did: my dress, photographer, DJ, and I am looking for limos and flowers now. I am not saying this because I think it's necessary, but it is working for me. I will say I always planned to get my dress first because I was advised that it takes a while and I didn't want to cut it too close!

I would go photo next then DJ. Limos and flowers you can wait awhile.

I would do church, photo/video and DJ first!! These can only do one event per day so they book up. Limos and flowers can do more than one so you can wait a little on those.

i did RH (and ceremony ...at the same place), photo, video, flowers and dress (sorta at the same time)...i had to plan with her once i decided on a dress etc... but that was easy. i just did limo and tuxes. i kinda went from most expensive to least.... and that explains why the invites and everything else i can think of is DIY now :o) lol

We booked the church, then photo/video, then DJ. Whichever vendor is the most important to you I would book next. For us photo/video and DJ were VERY important so we booked those right away.
