In your experience what happens if there is no church toss
Re: In your experience what happens if there is no church toss
I think people will want to watch you walk out nomatter what...however, I'm doing bubbles b/c I think they are pretty, and I'm not that worried about stains!

I went to one a month ago that was bubbleless/riceless and everyone stayed!

Have you thought about ribbon wands? I know some of the ladies on here are using them. My church had a no throwing rice or birdseed rule too. However my mom bought safe rice ( those little flaky white hearts) and we did a throw with them. The dissolve when wet too, and are safe for birds to eat. We didn't get in trouble. We put a close friend in charge of bringing the bucket of tulle packs, and hiding it until after then she handed them out to everyone.

There are the ribbon wands that sound fun, my friend got little bells to ring but she has a whole christmas theme , maybe there is a way you could call them wedding bells or something.

I had bubbles, less then half of the people saw us leave church because of the storm that was about to come , I might have left too if I was a guest lol

I think it really depends on the person, and also if you plan on doing a receiving line or not. If you are, people might be milling around the lobby and such anyways, and will be more inclined to stay, throwing or not. I don't like the whole throwing thing myself as a guest, I get embarrassed as a guest, so I did ribbon wands, because that's less embarrassing?
