In your own words...

In your own words...

Please share, how do you feel about your child?

My Mother has said that you never know how much you can love a person until you have a child. I think that's the most wonderful thing I've ever heard.

Try hard to verbalize the love you feel for your child.

It's really hard to express it in words but I will try.
The love that I feel for Alia is beyond anything that I have ever felt. My love is so strong, that I would give my life for her in a second.
She is my life and if something ever happened to her, I couldn't live.

My son is my whole entire world. I love my husband with all my heart and soul, but the absolute infinite love I have for this little person, who in a few short weeks has transformed me into a whole other person, cannot be measured. My son, in my eyes, is the most perfect thing and nothing he does will ever make me love him less

OMG! The things written here are beautiful.
I have chills. Please keep them coming.
And please let's try to keep them as serious and heartwarming.
Thanks.

Wow-it's hard to put into words but when I think of the love I have for my daughter it is almost scary. I would give my own life in a second for her. She has bettered (is that a word?) my life in so many ways, yet she doesn't even know it. I am still amazed by her and how she started as a little blob in my tummy and is now the most beautiful (in my eyes of course) little girl I can imagine.
The other day we were sitting outside and she was just amazed by the littlest things-cars driving by, leaves blowing, kids playing and it made me realize just how innocent she really is.

Thats such a hard thing to do!
With me - when I got pg with my son I wasn't prepared -
I have to tell you from the first time I laid eyes on him I never felt such an overwhelming amount of love for another person before. I look forward to everyday now - he has changed my life in such a positive way, I can't wait to see him in the morning and be the one who tucks him in at night! He is 7 now and my feelings have only gotten stronger, I hate leaving him, even for a night out w/DH. My son is the most incredible gift from God, I can't believe how I've been blessed, I would do anything for him, when he's sad, I'm sad, when he's happy, I'm happy, I go through every emotion right along with him.
I would lay down my life for that child! Truly, this is unconditional love!

I think you truly never know love till you have a child. It can not be really put into words.

I know that when my my older boy was born my hubby came into the room and said 'sorry' I asked him 'for what' He said 'because we didnt have a girl' At that moment I knew what true love was.

I really wanted a girl and most people knew that but it wouldnt have mattered oneway or another as look as the baby was healthy but I was just leaning to wanting a girl.

Re: In your own words...

It seems so hard to put into words such a strong emotion. Sometimes I catch myself just staring at her and I am so overwhelmed by the depth of love I feel for her. I feel like I am so connected to her, when she cries and I cant stop it right away, I cry too, it breaks my heart when she isn't happy. I would give my life for her in a second, and I would do anything in my power to make her happy. I cant imagine there is anything she can ever do that can diminish the immense love I feel for her. It is amazing how much she changed my life from the minute she was born, I never knew I could love her this much.
