Re: in your programs
on the last page we put In Memory of:
but we also honored DH's father by getting married on Bastille Day (He was from France)...so we wrote a little bit about why the day is special in our program as well

Re: in your programs
hope these help #1
Although we can't see you We know you are here Smiling down, watching over us As we say 'I DO' Forever in our hearts Forever in our lives And so we say our vows In loving memory of you.

Re: in your programs
In memory of loved ones past……… submitted by Lori Liebetrau Although death has separated us physically, faith and love have bound us eternally. Though we cannot see you, we know you are here. Though we cannot touch you, we feel the warmth of your smile, as we begin a new chapter in our lives.
Today we pause to reflect upon those who have shaped our character, molded our spirits and touched our hearts. May the lighting of this candle be a reminder of the memories we have shared, a representation of the everlasting impact you have made upon our lives.
Good Luck. They are a little shorter.

Re: in your programs
I included this on my program twice actually. Here is how I worded it:
DEDICATION OF ROSES TO OUR BLESSED MOTHER IN HONOR OF OUR DEPARTED LOVED ONES
LISTED NAMES AND RELATIONSHIP
PRESENTED MY KELLY & SCOTT (THAT'S US)
And then on the last page after Thanking everyone who was there, we wrote this:
PLEASE REMEMBER OUR DEPARTED LOVED ONES WHO WALK WITH US TODAY. WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE WITH US IN SPIRIT.

Re: in your programs
We simply wrote:
We would like to remember those who are with us in spirit:
and then listed the names.
Good luck and hope that's helpful!

Re: in your programs
I will probably use Chppatrids poem, but if ya want to keep it simple and basic, my sister honored her fiances father in the program at the end and just said 'In Loving Memory of' an dthen his name. If I dont use the poem, I will just do that. I need to see if my Fiance wants the poem. I love it..its so sweet!

Re: in your programs
Daisy, my girlfriend from work used the 2nd one you posted. Her Mother had passed away 3 years ago. She put a candle in the front of the church in her memory, it was really a nice way to remember her Mom.
