INCEPTION

went and saw it last night and thought it was really pretty awesome.
just thought i would share

we saw it yesterday too. loved it. but i love all christopher nolan's movies.

we came home and watched the prestige last night in his honor... i still say that's better than inception so if you haven't seen it.. rent it.

im not a movie person so i never heard of prestige but i will def look into it! thanks!

it's a great movie about these two feuding magicians. it has christian bale, hugh jackman, scarlett johanson and michael caine (the guy who played dicaprio's dad in inception).

it came out as the same time as a similar movie about 5 years ago called the illusionist with ed norton and jessica biel. DO NOT CONFUSE.

the prestige is way, way, way, way better than the other one.

its kind of hard to describe.

dicaprio leads a team of people who know how to sort of manipulate people's dreams and steal their secrets by entering into a dream with them.

it's got sort of a matrix-y feel alongside a heist movie...

Oddly enough my fav scene was where Joseph Gordon Levitt fights in the hotel
But the whole concept is incredible, a def mind fuk. I'm still trying to understand all the layers of it

And Becki, how do u even compare illusionist to prestige??? No comparison! Illusionist is prob one of the worst movies of the decade

LOL i agree. i only brought it up because i didn't want her to go looking for The Prestige and find that horrible piece of garbage movie and then think I have bad taste in movies
