Income Tax ?
This may sound really stupid, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. anyone know if we are elible for some type of break for our bridal expense or can we claim anything?
Search in your own words. Describe what you need or ask a wedding planning question.

Thats a GREAT question, cause we're having our taxes done today at 12. Will definately have to look into that.
Ask your accountant he would know.
you can only use the sales tax from your hall ...but really that only applies if you itemize your deductions. (like if you own a home and claim mortgage interest, charity expense, etc) if you just have a W-2 and maybe a 1099-INT statement, but nothing more than that, you don't itemize and probably can not claim the sales tax.
FH told me that his accountant said that there are “certain” wedding expenses that can be written off because it is considered an “investment.”
You can possibly write off any donation you make to your church
