Thats a tough one.... Maybe you should ask the officient if he has any suggestions for you. He probably has more experience with readings than most of us.

07er crashing here...I was going to suggest the sand cermeony, but the unity candle thing will work too...just give them both a candle and all 4 of you light the pillar.

When my sister got married she had 2 girls, and they did a little ceremony where they gave the kids each a wedding band on a necklace, it was really cute and made them feel like a part of the ceremony and that it wasn't just about the parents. They also have something of there own to keep & show off all night like it was their day too!!

The sand ceremony is really nice. The 4 of you can pour the different colored sand into a vase then all pour the different colors in together.

hi,

I am going to be getting a stepdaughter too and our officiant said that you can have a saying about families joining, etc...and give them a token like a ring or a pendant......your officiant will definately have ideas for that.
