Incorporating Things Through the years...

So, FH and I have been friends for most of our lives and I have a elementary school yearbook with our pictures, love letters in high school, yearbook signatures, high school signatures, etc. All over theplace... as well as some pictures from high school. As well as a VHS of my Sweet Sixteen where we has a candle (Lucky 17 because my best friends lucky number was 16 and he was more important than her).

How the heck can I avoid ruining everything and still incorporate it all? I don't want to rip it out, but a photocopy might look a little silly...

you can scan it and then have it printed!

That's what I was thinking.. but then when I print it all.. should I just lay it out on a table or make a collage? I thought it would be cute to include.. but I'm kind of at a loss of how to make it look cute yet wedding classy..

I think a collage is a great idea.

or you can make a book! When FH proposed to me he made one of those photo books through shutterfly and it was our story (so cute) You could do something like that and put it on a table next to your guest book.

You can get the yearbooks unbound...I feel like some copy places can do that carefully. I would also make nice copies of everything so that you can still keep the originals safe.

I would do a collage, or a scrapbook because then you can throw in random stuff.

Also, if you decide to go photobook route I would check out all of the sites...snapfish, shutterfly, etc. I recently made my friend an Eloise gets married picture book modeled after the real picture books and some of the templates were better than others.

i say make a cute book on shutterfly or snapfish! i recently took pics of my moms old b&w pics lol then i uploaded them to the site and cropped out w/e i didn't want - it came out adorable! maybe you can then use it as your sign-in book for guests

the color copies at staples come out really nice

they look like originals and they are inexpensive too!

crashing-

a friend of mine did this as her actual guest book. She had pictures, scanned copies of old notes and old ann/valentines day cards and left a big border around each page where guests would sign. The last page was left blank for their wedding photo

Oooooo... I'm really liking the guest book idea! Thank you girls! I was thinking of doing a guest book with pictures, but then it might look plain, so using all of our momentos would be great!!

AND! I just got the idea that maybe I should take quotes out of our love letters and cards and use them for the guest book, maybe on the table numbers, or incorporate them throughout the wedding! Thank you girls so much!
