=( Increased sales tax

I was so happy when I got home, I got my VS package with my bridal undies and swimsuit and then I see a letter from my RH. It was an updated invoice reflecting the newly increased sales tax. I knew the tax was increased but I would have liked the RH to tell us about it last week when we went to drop off a payment for the hall.

At least it is not a huge increase from our original tax amount but I hope we don't have to pay for more guests than we guaranteed the RH.

I don't know why but I'm thinking that whatever you signed at the contract should still apply...

8.875% in NYC.

yeah, it sux. The letter said any event being held after August 1st, 2009 will be charged the new sales tax on the balance.

I was just annoyed that we went to the RH in person last week and they didn't even think to mention this to us when we sat down with the owner.
