Independent gyms in the city???

Independent gyms in the city???

I saw someone post something about an independent gym in the city. While FI and I are desperate to get in shape for the wedding, the budget just doesn't allow for the prices at the big gyms. Does anyone know of any independent gyms and how much they run? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ladies! :o)

There's a YMCA on the upper east side that's pretty cheap.

Try Synergy - there's one on Park and 34th and one on 3rd at 23rd...think there may actually be another downtown now (on Prince-?)
