Asia eats EVERY toy she owns. Stuffies, ropes, everything. She has plenty of soccer balls and volleyballs outside that she LOVES, but I need indoor toys. Any suggestions??

Baby eats through most of her toys too, except we have had great luck with the Galileo by Nylabone. It's like a rock...and she loves to chomp on it.

I agree - some of these supposed indestructible toys are a bunch of bunk! My sister got Golem an Orca chewie toy - another 'indestructible'...... Yeah right, the next day he managed to EAT half of it!! Golem seems to do very well with the Kongs right now. We bought him a Puppy Kong when we first brought him home, and that's still in one piece after months of chewing! He also has a Kong ball and dental chew stick which are still in one piece! But he's still teething too - so I'm sure I'll be posting this same questiion a few months from now once all those adult teeth are in!

I got this Nylabone for Bama because he loves to chew. This thing is HARD! But I've found that Bama doesn't like to chew on indestructible things! Except for DH's Adidas flops, that is

Is the Kong just a toy or do you put snacks in it? She has the hollow bones (we put snacks in them) which she doesn't chew, but no toys. And she's still a baby, a big one, but a baby nonetheless, and she wants to play. I feel bad, but I don't want her gagging on the rope toys (which last about 10 minutes) or the plush toys (about 5) or paper - which she loves!! Maybe I'll try the large nylabone and see what she thinks about that. Thanks!

Re: Indestructible Toys????
I just went to buy Scooby the Galileo toy that was mentioned here. Do they only make them for big dogs? My 7 lb. Maltese can't possibly put that in his mouth - but he certainly needs some indestructible toys. Even for a little guy, he has bitten pieces off all his plastic toys, had cut through anything soft or made of fabric, and he pull threads out of the rope toys and swallows them. He doesn't like the smell of rubber at all and I'm afraid of any of the chewable bones. He takes pieces out of them. I have such a hard time keeping him occupied. Any ideas would really be a big help. Thanks.

We also have a little TireBiter for Golem too, which he really likes and will walk around the house with this tire hanging out of his mouth Of his Kong toys (4) two of them can be filled with snacks, the dental chew stick has ridges you can fill with Kong paste, and hte ball has openings where you can stick biscuits in - but Golem figured out how to get those out by the time he was 3 months old, so now I just have a little Nylabone sticking out of it, and he likes chewing on that. Not including pressed rawhide - I have yet to find a toy that will keep him occupied for more than 10 minutes at a time, he's such a hyper baby!

Gus has the Tire Biter (which he loves & looks so cute with) and the Big Chew from Nylabone. They have held up well. We got him a Kong...but it didn't last too well for Gus!

Re: Indestructible Toys????
The Tire Biter bid bye-bye a few days after it was introduced I loved that toy too! The bone thing we've got down - it's just plain ol' toys! I'm going to keep looking...anyone know of any other good pet stores besides Petco? Isn't there another one that just opened in Huntington or Commack??
