Indian wedding at Chateau Briand

Hi Everyone,

I just got engaged (yay) and started looking at halls. I'm pretty new to this so I could use a lot of help I'm looking for a date this Sept/Oct 2009 (I know...) so I'm trying to fast fwd all the planning- yikes!

Anway, I was wondering if anyone has ever had/attended an indian wedding @ Chateau Briand? If so...likes/dislikes?

Any other hall recommendations would be great as well. Saturday night is a must. So is Indian food.

I know how hard it is to look for a place that allows Indian food and in these locations. I lasted three months looking for a place and available dates. If you're looking for locations, try these places. They allow indian caters but I don't know if they have dates.

Hyatt Regency Wind Watch
Glen Cove Masion
Woodbury Country Club
Terrace on the Park
Hilton, Melville
Hilton Uniondale
Garden City Hotel
Sandcastle

There are also some really nice places in New Rochelle.

I never been to an Indian wedding at CB but when I went to view this hall they were having an Indian wedding. It looked amazing! I mean they had everything.I even took home, the program bc it was so nice. What they did was describe all parts of an Indian wedding. If you want FM me for the names of the couple maybe you can find them online.


I been to an Indian wedding at Arkbars in GC and I would not recommend it all.The food and service was bad.

chateau does Indian weddings.. and they use Tandoor.. their max is 300 guests though.. congrats!!
