Hi Ladies, I head from someone that there is an area on the Dowling campus where you can take wedding pictures indoors. I was thinking of looking into this in case it is rainy on the day of our wedding. Does anyone have any information about this? Any pics would be GREAT too!!

I went to college at Dowling and the grounds there are really pretty. The mansion has a really cool wooden stair case with stain glass behind it and then there is a beautiful garden and garden room as well. I would look into it, you would probably need to make sure that there is not a wedding booked there. I wish i could tell you who to call maybe call lessing (631) 277-7800 and i'm sure they will be able to point you in the right direction there would probably be a fee or talk to your photographer they should be able to help as well. i called and asked they do not allow pics in the mansion unless you are getting married there...booo!!!
dowling would be much closer for me since im getting married in patchogue...but i will be taking the trekk to old westbury gardens

You can take pics inside the college, not the mansion. FH and I are taking pictures inside the conservatory and on the gardens and in a few other rooms. We are only able to do this because I went to Dowling, but they were great to work with. It's free, but they ask you to donate $100...speaking of which, I should probably find out whether or not I did that!!! I can show you pics in a few weeks after I take them!
