Are you talking about wedding ring 'band' or music 'band'?

Re: Inexpensive Bands

Regular rock and pop, 50s- the usual, no light shows, no coordinated dances- just decent fun stuff!

we were looking for and booked a jazz band that can play swing and funky R & B. the one band i saw that had jazz but could do more of 'the usual' were The Bluetones. They were not what we were looking for, but if I remember correctly they were in that 4K (if not under) price range...

Jon Bates Band, hands down. Love them, and can't wait for them to play at our wedding.

We saw Fran Diamond and the Hits play - they seemed amazing! They are in your price range. FM if you need more details. They are a vendor on this site.

Re: Inexpensive Bands

Hi, we have also been looking for bands under $4k, so here is a list of the ones we have found that are either $4k or under:
Michael Hart band (who is with Hank Lane Music)
Paul Rich Music (is over $4k, but will negotiate)
Good Clean Fun (around $3700, five pieces)
NYC Swing (around $3800 for six pieces)
Galaxy (around $3100 for seven pieces)
CD & Company

Those were prices quoted to me for a Sunday day wedding in July...so they may change slightly depending on what day/night your wedding is.

Good luck!
