If there even is such a thing...I think a band might be too much, but I want to consider it. Does anyone know of a good band that doesn't cost a fortune? Or also, if you have any good recommendations for dj's? Thanks!!
I think any band that does mostly weddings will be expensive. I found this website called gigmasters.com and you can search for live bands that perform at weddings and other events. You select the bands you want contacted on your behalf by the website and then the bands submit a proposal for how much they would charge to do the event. I found a steeldrum band on their for 1/2 the price the normal wedding vendors were asking. Gigmasters does charge a fee, but it was really small and worth it based on the amount of money I saved. I am using Soul Revival and I think they are reasonable as far as bands go. Plus I love them! They are a vendor on here too.

The Fran Diamond band was very resonable (for band prices). He also sounded like he would be an excellent vendor. I wish you the best in searching =).
