Inexpensive Flower Girl dresses?

Does anyone know any places that have inexpensive FG dresses? My flower girl will be three by the time the wedding comes around and I don't want to have her mom spend lots of money on a gown that she'll grow out of quickly. I was thinking of getting a simple white gown and taking the fabric from the BM's gown alterations and making a little sash around the waist, but if anyone can suggest any places (or even manufacturers) of reasonably priced and simple FG dresses, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

i am looking for the exact same thing... except i have 6 flowergirls, and 4 are from one family!!! it is driving me nuts trying to find something affordable... i just emailed net bride about a price quote for an US Angels dress... it is simple white dress with a colored sash... i'll let you know what the quote is when i get it!

6 FGs? Wow! Definitely let me know what they quote you. If I find anything out as well, I'll pass the quotes along to you!

Thanks!

i would also try the department stores... i know sears has a nice kid section with lots of cute dresses, or try JC Penny or lord and taylor.
do you know anyone who sews? flower girl dresses are really simple to make- especially since it doesn't sound like you want anything too super fancy... my mom made my flower girl dress, just like you're talking about with a sash the same color as the bridesmaids, and it came out adorable

You can try Cathy's TOuch in Merrick on Merrick Avenue.

Your getting married right after Xmas so if I were you I would go to Sears, JC Penny, etc... for white Xmas dress, but in all honesty you could use this and no one would know. I would have suggested Easter time to get a dress but your getting married months before. Try to get the dress after Xmas for the sales. And if that doesn't work out, there is always ebay.

One thing you can do it just go to macy's or someplace like that and just get a cute dress. They make some really frilly dresses. Or Estelles has dresses for like 40-60$.
