Inexpensive Flowergirl Dresses

I have three flower girls in my wedding party and was wondering if anyone had any ideas where I could purchase inexpensive dresses for them. Thanks for the info. Happy Planning!

Inexpensive Flowergirl Dresses - my experience

There are some great places in the Garment district in NYC that have really cheap flower girl dresses and they are very nice. I saw a really cute dress for only $60 and there are some as low as $40. I have been to NYC Kids (not custom made - off the rack and order the size) on 7th Avenue between 36th and 37th and a place on 39th street between 8th and 9th avenues on the south side of the street (this one custome makes the dresses in any color, size, with or without flowers, etc.)- can't remeber the name now. I will definitely be getting my flower girl dress at one of these places. They are inexpensive and nicer than those at David's bridal, which cost $100. Let me know if you need additional info and I wil try to find the name of the store on 39th street.

Inexpensive Flowergirl Dresses - my experience

Thanks Jennifer. If you can give me the names of the stores, that would be great. I work in the city so I could go on my lunch hour. Thanks for your help.

Inexpensive Flowergirl Dresses - my experience

Someone just told me to try Lord and Taylors and Bloomingdales...I am not getting a traditional white one, so I have been looking in Marshalls and anytime I walk by a childrens section, but I can't buy until I know how much she'll grow.

Flowergirl Dresses vs. Communion Dresses

Is there a difference between a typical Flowergirl dress and a Communion dress? My 2 flowergirls are going to be 8 and 9 years old and I was hoping they could both wear their Communion dresses.

Is there a difference between a typical Flowergirl dress and a Communion dress? My 2 flowergirls are going to be 8 and 9 years old and I was hoping they could both wear their Communion dresses. If not, I was thinking of going to Sears or Penny's when the Communion dresses come out.

Flowergirl Dresses vs. Communion Dresses

Two of my four flower girls were 8 and both of them wore their communion dresses. When you add a wreath on their head and give them flowers you dont notice that the dresses aren't exactly the same. I posted pictures a week or so ago if you want to take a look.

You will never believe where I found nice ones

Now don't laugh...eBay. I know that it sounds crazy but there are dress distributors on eBay. And a lot of the dresses are designer names for around $50 or so. Many of the sellers distribute for Pagants. I was shocked. Some of the dresses are very 'fancy' but some are perfect for flowergirls. Just do a search for flower girl dress.
