inexpensive flowers

hello! i asked my brother-in-inlaw who is a videographer to recommend some vendors for me. he surprised me when he recommended super stop and shop in smithtown for flowers! has anyone ever used them or known anybody who has? he said they are extremely reasonable with prices and that the florist is very enthusiatic. i do not want to spend a lot on flowers, as they will play a small role in the wedding (my flower needs include bouquets for me, bm's, bouts for the boys, corsages for mom, and maybe a few small arrangements for the ceromony/guestbook table/etc...i am making my own centerpieces with a beach theme). i might check them out when the time comes, but i would love to hear opinions about them! thanks!

ps other vendors he recommended include sensational sound and hilite photography...any comments on them?

I don't know about them but when we were searching, there was a florist called Keyser's that had incredible prices. We ultimately went with a different florist but Keyser's did come highly recommended and had unbeatable prices. Also, check out Pedastal's, they were quite reasonable as well.

Yes, I also want to know about Hilite studios because I saw a special in the pennysaver for 595 for photography!!! I am trying to spend as little as possible!!!THANKS

stop and shop can be a good place for inexpensive flowers - depends who is doing the order as some of the staff doesnt know anything about flowers and some does - make sure you are dealing with the floral manager.

another place for reasonable flowers - fine designs by dee they are in coram - when you call ask for Liz and tell her Amy the Halloween Wedding gal told you to call. Liz is the owner and she really knows about flowers - she handpicks each order - we use her for alot of daily flowers too - have never been disappointed.

I met with Hilite and the work was nice. the pictures were very traditional and they did not offer a lot of sepia, black and white, etc. The person I met with really turned me off though.
