Inexpensive Flowers

Inexpensive Flowers

So I'm aware of baby's breath as a cheap option and I've seen it done in bouquets and centerpieces which I actually really liked. My bridesmaids will be in a deep purple lace, our reception room has a romantic slightly rustic feel so I think it could work for bridesmaid bouquets and/or centerpieces. But what are my other options for cheaper flowers??

Love the look of babies breath! I almost did that! It is a rustic look so that could definetely work! Hydrangeas are cost effective, daisies, even roses.

If you are looking for a good deal, I would check out Burtons in Melville. I wanted peonies but didnt think they were in our budget. At Burtons, they were! They charge by the AMOUNT of flowers you get, not by the type. So basically, as long as it's in season, a peony costs the same as babies breath!

Apparently roses are the cheaper option because they're in season all year round. Plus they're a great option because they come in or can be died all different colors. My plans for bouquet (for now.. Who the hell really knows what I'll end up picking) is all roses, lavender for me and a mix of lavender and plum for the bridesmaids wearing lavender dresses.
