MY parents dont want us to get them anything...we already ordered them a parent album but I feel weird not presenting them anything at the RD...is anyone not giving their parents gifts? Or is there something little I can give them? Any ideas?
we are giving the dad's a pair of cuff links from etsy and the mom's are getting personalized handkerchiefs also from etsy.
It's not tradition in FH's family to do this, but they've done so much for us that I think I'm going to anyway....was thinking to get them something useful for the house, or a gift card to their favorite restaurant.
I purchased two shadow box frames from Michaels, painted them the color I wanted, put a poem in each of them with pictures of when i was you with my mom/dad in the pic and a more recent pic with me and them in it. The poem is really touching. That is the gift I am giving to them at the RD.
