Inexpensive Programs

Inexpensive Programs

I was toying with the idea of doing programs.

Honestly...

On one hand, I think they're a waste.

On the other hand, I think they can be a cute personal touch if done right.

But since I'm so torn I've decided I will only do it if I can do it inexpensively. Like pay for it without even touching my savings account lol.

Any ideas?

and fyi My invitations are black and white damask. and my colors are ivory burgandy and black.

those are really pretty. How big are they?

I don't DIY anything though.

I don't have the time or patience to do it.
I'd rather pay someone else to do it for me lol

Thanks!

I was actually looking on etsy last night and saw them as cheap as $0.55 each. They were really pretty but I'd rather go on recommendations so I don't get fkd over.

I used Microsoft Publisher to make a sample, btu then thought about it and was like 'this is a waste of time, money and paper' People are just going to throw them out! The last wedding I went to didn't have them, and there was no difference, it was still beautiful! =)

I am mainly doing them because I am having a jewish ceremony and I wanted to make sure people could understand whats going on if they wanted to.

My friend got 100 free postcards on vistaprint and designed them as programs. Short and simple - just had the order of the ceremony - no names of BP members or anything and on the back they put the lyrics to the 'group song' they had during their ceremony.

I think she just paid $6 for shipping and other than that they were free.

I'm making my own. Bought the kit from Michael's and it comes with an online templete.

So easy to do and prints easy right from my own home printer.

I believe the kit was like $30 for 100 and I used my 20% off coupon

here are some pics I did just on a mock-up one I made for practice.

ETA:: The paper looks see-through because I used regular computer paper as the practice, I didn't want to waste one of my actual programs from the kit. LOL
