After lots & lots of searching!! I mean hours of phone calls & research....I found a company offering reasonable rates for shuttle vans to transport guests to my hotel after the reception.
You know I had to share!
At Winston Transportation I got 14 passenger shuttle vans for $85 each plus grat. I'm doing 2 vans but may add another one just in case. The guy Dave who's in charge of wedding bookings is really nice. Definitely ask to speak to him. Their number is 631-924-1234. http://www.winstontrans.com I can't believe how cheap they are compared to some of the other quotes I got for a 10 minute ride! Hope this helps you ladies out...I know it made my day!
Oh & FYI he said they will be getting a 55 passenger (or something like that) bus soon & have some other size vans I think.

Re: Inexpensive shuttle vans...Finally!
Ok sorry for the confusion...it's $85 per van per trip. I am doing 2 vans 1 way so it's $204 inclusing grat to transport 28 people to the hotel! Hope this helps!

Re: Inexpensive shuttle vans...Finally!
Seriously - My hotel referred me to Winston for shuttle vans and they said $450 for a 10 passenger van to go to/from !!!
Of course I just called - Dave is not in today - he'll be in tomorrow and he handles shuttles.

If you are a person who needs a shuttle to making multiple trips (e.g., guests will depart the hotel for the reception at different times depending on whether they need to be in your pictures or might miss the cocktail hour, or might leave early)....
I got a 14 pass shuttle that will run back and forth for 2 hours to the RH from the hotel and that will run for 2 hours at the end of the night from the hotel to the RH. It is $370 for those 4 hours of trips including gratuity - from Camelot.

Thanks! FH wants to get transportation from our hotel to our afterparty and I don't want to ... but $85 is nothing! We probably will only need one 14 pass van too. Thanks!!! Bookmarking this page now!

That's an awesome deal! So cheap! I'm so jealous! We're paying around $1,000 for a 30-something passenger van for the day. I'm so jealous!

Re: Inexpensive shuttle vans...Finally!
Actually, I called some random Valley Stream cab company and it was only like $100.... Cab companies are much cheaper than limo companies. We need the shuttle for a few hours, so we're using our limo company and it's not cheap
Wish I did that now, looking at your post, I would have saved about $400 I think.

I saw someone else mention that comp once before too. Great deal.
