inexpensive wedding favors

I am trying to cut costs where ever I can... does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive wedding favor idea?

I am trying to incorporate hearts in it some how...

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

What price would you like to be around?? I am giving out heart shaped wine stoppers. They were $3 and change. If you want to see them, let me know and I will find a pic for you.

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

go to your local 99 cent store.. there are soo many nice things you can get for dirt cheap and they look a hell of alot nicer than some of the favors you get now-a days.. perhaps a nice champagne glass and you can fill it up with those candy hearts that has sayings? and wrap it up in tulle?

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

I don't know how much they cost, but my MOH did heart shaped cookie cutters! I know they weren't over $3 and a big hit.

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

I don't hink anyone would think it was cheap, a heart shaped cookie cutter sounds really cute, and you could wrap it up with hugs and kisses maybe, and then tie it all together with a poem and love and hugs and kisses

I just did a web search, and found one you can add a recipe to

I'm not poetic, but I bet someone here (lizlen) might be able to help

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

What do you girls think about this?

It's a heart-shaped candle...

The little tag reads:

'Thank you for sharing in our special day
and take this gift when you go away.
Please use it some evening or night;
may its flame kindle memories of delight'

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

I like this.

Are you going to add some personalization with your name and wedding date.

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

We can't go crazy either, and honestly, everything that I have gotten as a favor that wasn't edible...wound up in a drawer somewhere.

We are probably doing a donation and a small tin of candy.

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

I saw these online and I wanted to use them as well, but it would be nice to have your names on it somewhere.

I am looking at it to figure out where you can personalize it.

5-6: $9.99 per 10 pack
7-9: $8.99 per 10 pack
10+: $8.90 per 10 pack

Re: inexpensive wedding favors

Honestly, if I hadn't already gotten the vases for my breakaway centerpieces, I would have donated money to a charity in my guests name...

You can donate whatever you feel comfortable with - maybe to the American Heart Association!
