Any idea? FH and I are looking to go away, just Saturday to Sunday, not too far. Also, not too expenisve (on a tight budget ) Need to get away from work, families and wedding talk for a little while.

Not sure what you mean by not to far, but DH and are thinking of going ot Newport, RI soon to a B&B for one night. I think it's a 3 hour drive. Otherwise, I think most will say the Hamptons.

Try the Poconos, it is not expensive and all-inclusive. It is just a nice getaway & only 2 hours away

FH and I also want to go away, but for one night. Not sure were we are going though. While I was searching I found this, which I think is pretty good for a 2 night stay.
We usually take a drive out to the vineyards on the north fork and then stay at a B&B in the area. I love it out there this time of year (quiet & no traffic!).

We are going to the Sterling Inn in PA at the end of the month. They are having a March Special.
We drove out to the North Fork once for the day...I have no idea where to go or stay though. Thanks for the info!!!

When we go to the Poconos we always stay at Paradise Stream Ceasers Resort, we go every year for a quick getaway.

We went to the Hudson Valley in the fall which was awesome! We stayed at a B&B in Cold Spring, which is about 90 minutes north of the city. Beautiful!

The Montauk Manor is great. The rooms and hotel are great and now is still off season so you can get a great deal. Plus it is very peaceful and romantic.

New Hope PA!!! Great place...lots to do...very affordable and its about 90 mins from NYC!!!
