So I've heard about Kleinfeld's mostly from the show Say Yes to the Dress but i was wondering if it was overpriced or only carried designer gowns?? I looked on the website and it seems like it has a lot of choices.. As of right now I would say i'm willing to spend in the 2000 range on my dress.. so would anyone know if this somewhere realistic for me to try?? Thanks!!

Re: Info on Kleinfeld's?
i bought my dress at kleinfelds, they do sell designer gowns like Priscilla of Boston, Kenneth pool and eve of milady, they basically range from 3000 and up, however it doesn't hurt to go and experience it . You never know you may find something in your range and its a beautiful store good luck

Re: Info on Kleinfeld's?
Kleinfeld's is a beautiful store with very good service. My DIL bought her gown there and if I remember correctly they have gowns starting at $1,800 and go up from there. Call the store and make your appointment, but first be sure to ask if that is still true (it should be). When you call for your appointment see if you can get Rosaria to be your salesgirl and then you want Josephine to do your alterations. Have fun. It really is a great experience.

Re: Info on Kleinfeld's?
this is quoted from their website:
'Question: What are your price ranges?
Answer: Our bridal gowns range from $1800 to dream land!
Our Evening wear gowns begin at: $1800 and up.
Our Headpieces begin at: $200 and up.
Our Shoes range from $60 to $350.'
i bought my dress there. My attendent was awful lol. she kept bringing me dresses that looked nothing like the pictures i was showing her. but everyone at the store is SO nice that the manager AND fashion consultant got involved....2 hrs later i found the perfect dress :) and they gave me 10% off for the headaches.

Re: Info on Kleinfeld's?
I went there in my opinion they are overpriced. A dress that they will sell for 4K you can find elsewhere for like 2k. A veil for $700 is really $350 somewhere else. I did the research on what i tried on and compared it to other places. But they do have nice styles & they are attentative to the style you want. I had one of the ladies that was on say yes to the dress

Re: Info on Kleinfeld's?
From what I understand, even though they say their dresses start at 1800, the biggest selection of gowns falls into the 3-5 range. Do your research on theknot.com and the kleinfeld website and print out which dresses fall into your range. I would also be firm saying not only what your range is, but also what your LIMIT is. Because if you tell them your range is in the 2's, they could bring you gowns that are 2900...so be honest with them & what you want to spend. And seriously DO NOT let them show you/have you try on out of budget dresses.
I highly recommend wedding salon of manhasset =)
You should also try to catch a trunk show somewhere, you can save 10-15% off the cost of your gown/accessories during those events.

i'm a Kleinfeld bride, and when I went, everything was great, people were so nice and there was a large selection of dresses, not everything was extremely expensive, definitely go for the experience, you never know what you'll find!! Hope that helps!!

Both my sister and I got gowns there! The experience is great and I find that they are good about only bringing you gowns in your price range because they dont want to bring you something that is out of your range and have you fall in love with it! You can find gowns in the 2's so go for it!
