We're having a very small informal wedding (brunch for about 75).
I've seen a lot of informal dresses online, but of course, what looks great on a model, doesn't mean it'll necessarily look good on me.
I've been to David's and Village Bridal and I haven't found anything that I'm looking for. I did see one I liked at Nordsrtom which was cocktail length that I liked. But I was wondering is there anyplace else where I can go to try on informal dresses? I'm not too comfortable ordering these dresses on line...what if they look horrible on me when I receive them?
TIA

Re: Informal wedding dress help
Jessica McClintock I love the dress there. They have one in Roosevelt Field mall. There's also a store locator on the website if you want to try and find one closer to you.

Re: Informal wedding dress help
Try Demetrios' Destination Romance line and Alfred Angelo as well. Although both specialize in formal gowns, they also offer informal ones. You may also want to try getting a bridesmaid dress in white or ivory.
RK Bridal has a huge selection of dresses Ann Taylor celebrations line J. Crew

Re: Informal wedding dress help
I was going to say JCrew or Ann Taylor Celebrations... or order a beautiful bridesmaid dress to be your wedding dress.

Re: Informal wedding dress help
Thanks ladies!
I didn't find anything I liked on line at JCrew.
I did find a nice one at nordstroms.com. I'm hoping they have it or something similar in the store so I can try it on before ordering it online.
I live close to Estelle's...maybe I'll take a ride out there!
THANKS!

Re: Informal wedding dress help
You may want to also consider looking at a nice BM dress. My sister did this for her destination wedding to Jamaica and it looked stunning! I'm not too good with resizing but I could email the pics to you if you'd be interested. Let me see if this one works......
