I'd like to test printing my DIY invitations. What kind of printer do you suggest I use, InkJet or LaserJet?
I don't want my invitations to smudge
Thank you.

Re: InkJet or LaserJet
Hey, I used to work for Canon. If the inkjet is pigment - it shouldnt smudge. Laser on the other hand bonds the ink in capsules to the paper so it won't smudge. Bottom line, LASER.

Laser is usually a better dpi and does not smudge. Depends on what you are exactly doing though. If you have full color photographs you would be suprised how many ink jets blow laser jets away. For text though... laser

I don't have pictures for the invitations. I'm just using brown ink. BUT on my CD favors I'm going to print a picture of me and FH for the CD cover. Hopefully it'll come out nice on the laser.
Thank you

Also consider the paper you're using. Laser printers don't print very well on textured papers

Laser actually heats the ink up and burns it into the paper...just go slowly for whatever you do, and you will be fine...we got a color laserjet for our programs! FH is a computer consultant, so if you need help feel free to FM me!
