Has anyone tried printed on pearlized 80 lb carstock? I tried a sample sheet with my inkjet printer (want to use for menus, programs) and the ink isn't dry yet, it smudges a little. How long do I have to wait for it to dry?

Re: Inkjet with 80 lb cardstock
it's not really going to dry. a laser jet is best or 1 of the newest ink jets will work b/c there are settings for cardstock paper built in to print on now.
maybe try to lower the ink usage and see if that works for that paper

It might be because it's pearlized, which might be acting like a seal so the ink can't get on the paper... I agree, try different print qualities on your printer.

I wound up circumventing it, and did a layer. I printed on pearlized regular paper, then mounted it to a heavier card stock because it didnt work properly with our officejet
