hello. just wanted to put this out there. i used inkspun thinking i would be very happy with my envelopes based on reviews i've read of them, but unfortunately i am very dissappointed. first off, i got them later than originally told (not a big deal). bill called and told me he could match the font and color rather than use a different font with black in, so i gave the OK (he didnt charge extra for the color, i guess bc i was getting them later than expected). but the color was noticeably darker than the color he tried to match on the return address (annoying, but i coulda lived with it). and the worst is he sent me a proof of the outer and inner envelopes and i made changes on the a number of the inner ones (for example, i didnt know that when you do parents and kids that the kids go on a second line, so i changed that in the proof and sent it back noting that i made changes, and the changes werent made!!! now, i waited till the last minute for this, so there was no fixing these mistakes...but i emailed bill an email to let him know i was dissappointed and asked why the changes werent made, and its been over a day with no reply. i had to mail the invites as is. just aggrivating, ya know? ~lacey

Re: inkspun rant
Sorry to hear that..
Well I have to say I disagree. I send Bill my envelopes and had e mailed him on three different occasions to correct things, spellings, zip codes etc.
He was quick to reply and I got my envelopes back quick and looking great.
He even said if I wanted to add people he would print the envelopes for no add'l charge.

Me too.
Im sorry you had this problem, but Im sure he would have fixed it for you had you not been in such a rush.
It goes to show you that even the most recommended vendors sometimes dissapoint.

Re: inkspun rant
He sent mine later than he said as well (about 5 days later) and 4 were smudged... However he did reprint and send the smudged ones to me VERY Quickly! I was a bit annonyed too but when I saw how beatiful they came out I forgot all about that! I was so happy with his work! Compared to other printers..... he has a fast turn around time. Sorry for all the trouble you had.

Re: inkspun rant
i didn't have wonderful service with him either, so i feel your pain.
he didn't match my fonts which was irritating, because, i could have just bought myself the font and printed them myself, instead of all the stress.
pls. feel free to read my review on them.

Re: inkspun rant
I wasn't the biggest fan - some of my envelopes had smudged ink on them and when I sent him 3 different emails to get 5 extra envelopes done, I only got two sets.

Re: inkspun rant
Sorry to hear about your disappointment. That's terrible that you had to mail your invites out being disappointed. I used Bill, I was pretty happy with him for the most part. It took about a week for me to get my envelopes back. He called me to ask if I wanted the addresses printed up in grey ink to match my return address ink, which I thought was very nice of him to do. There were a few errors but nothing that bad.
I was very Happy with my final product.
Sorry again!!

Re: inkspun rant
I used Inkspun and I thought they were PHENOMENAL!!! Bill was so helpful and responsive - my envelopes came out terrific and he finished them in 45 minutes!! My mom lives in Westchester so she dropped them off - he told her to have a cup of coffee and come back in 45 minutes and they were done!! They looked great (IMO better than a calligrapher) and Bill was so professional and accommodating.
I hope everything turns out ok with your invites.
I don't think any other girls should be hesitant about using Inkspun at all.
Good luck....
