Inn at New Hyde Park

Hi. Has anyone ever been to a wedding or function at The Inn at New Hyde Park? I went to check it out today and I liked it. They are doing major renovations and by August they should have their outdoor area complete. It will have gardens for pics, an outdoor ceremony area, and outdoor cocktail area. They're also adding an indoor chapel and a whole new ballroom. Just curious what you guys think about them. Thanks!

Re: Inn at New Hyde Park

as a resident of new hyde park, it was always just the new hyde park inn. we went there every once in a blue moon for german food. i never enjoyed it but my parents love it.

fast forward to a month ago. i went in to get some info for our work christmas party. the place is like night and day. its always packed when i drive past now. it must be good and the prices are reasonable.

if you liked it, keep it in mind! i was impressed!

Re: Inn at New Hyde Park

Thanks for the help. They're doing renovations and they said they are tearing down all the houses behind it and building a new ballroom, indoor chapel, outdoor chapel, outdoor CH area and gardens.

Re: Inn at New Hyde Park

My good friend is getting married there next October 2007 - not that that really helps too much, but they seem to love it.

Re: Inn at New Hyde Park

Do you/she know if all the renovations will be completed by then? I heard the outdoor area is supposed to be finished in August.
