INN At NEW HYDE PARK

I WENT TO THE SHOWCASE AND omg - THE COCKTAIL ROOM IS INCREDIBLE.

IT REALLY HAD A TUSCANY FEEL AND IS SO UNLIKE ANY COCKTAIL ROOM I HAVE SEEN. I AM DEFINETELY HAVING MY COCKTAIL HOUR INDOORS.

THIS PLACE IS JUST GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!

I put the CH room pics in my album if anyone wants to see.

i really didn't like the room though. i mean, it's really pretty, and very well done, but it is SOOOOOOOO not us. i was pretty upset after leaving there

i think that most people will really love it though, and it will really blow the guests away...

I am sure your guests will love it. It is so different! I really did like it so much. I was honestly blown away but everything is of course a matter of taste.

I just showed my Dad a few pictures and he loved it too. My Dad is in the restauarant industry and he has been beyond picky. That god we are paying so his involvement is limited.

but honest;y - don't work if you are not crazy about it. After all, its for 1.5 hours and in my experience most cocktail rooms nothing special at all.

What about it did you not fall in love with?

it's just not our style, that's all. we would have liked if it was more like the landing, just more simple i guess.

if it rains i might ask them to put table cloths on the the tables, and take down the table umbrellas, just to make it a little more simple.

did you finally see the bed and breakfast??? my FH loved it! (umm you can see him testing out the bed in my album... how classy)

OMG I was totally floored too!!! I love going there, I walk out and im like i cant wait to have my wedding there!!!!! FH and I have a dilemia now, CH inside or outside???

I didnt get to see the B&B yet but that will give me another excuse to go there! Did you see the bar they put in the lobby/piano room!! AMAZING!!

I also was there last night, FH and I loved it. It so had that Tuscany feel, I loved the way the statiions were set up.

You so should have said hello! I was kind of bummy -- fitted jeans, gray uggs, and a bulky short jacket. I had FH and my mom with me. If that is the girl you saw - it's me. I looked for any LIW faces but i didn't recognize anyone :(

I asked about the B&B but they didn't have anyone to show it. They explained to me that only one floor is done so far. But its stay-ready!

I am excited.

I stiill haven't seen the B&B but I did look at your album pictures. I have to go back and see it but just based on what I heard from you and one of the other girls on here that saw it I am def. staying there. It sounds perfect for us.

I was a little tipsy then! lol I had 1 drink but had not eatten since lunch time-so i prob would have made a fool of myself!! lol

I heard the same thing about the B&B. I cant wait to see it thou!

Question- are you taking pictures at the Inn (grounds)
or someplace else?

I was there also and I am soooo happy that we choose the inn...Everytime we go there I fall in love with it all over again! The B& B was sooo nice also..
