My boss recommended this venue. it's beautiful and has a great menu. I am also getting a very great deal. Has anyone been to a wedding here and can tell me about your experience? Also, I have 150 guests. Could it work in this space.

I went to a wedding there last September, and it was fantastic. Food was great, service was great...always had a drink waiting for you..Bar in the ballroom was very big...dance floor was a great size...
When you say 150 people, are you concerned with the space being to big or small? This venue can def accomodate 150+ people.
If you have your wedding at this venue, I am sure you will be very happy

I had my company's Christmas party there a few years ago. If defiantly fit 150 comfortably and the food was great!

I was concerned the space might be too big. They offered to bring in some couches to help with that. We are also going to have a photo booth so that might help as well.

Our wedding will be at the Inn at NHP and I'm so excited! I have not attended a wedding there yet but I have heard nothing but great things! I am working with Linda and she is FANTASTIC! Very sweet and efficient!

The New Hyde Park Inn is very nice. I went to a wedding there last year and I had a blast. I have to say, I think the room holds a lot more than 150 people. you should be fine.

If you are looking for a Saturday night, you will need more than 150 people. And the prices start around 150pp

When I was shopping in Sept 2009 for my Sept 2011 wedding for a Sat night they wanted a guarantee of 225.

Our wedding was at the Inn and we were really happy with it - I did a review, which you can find in my profile or on the reviews board. I had no complaints, just that the day went too quickly! I think all our guests had a great time and the food was really good. I believe the ballroom holds 450 max, and usually for a Saturday night you have to guarantee 200+. We had a Friday night and guaranteed 185, of which we fell just short. The room didn't feel too big to me. They space out the tables according to the number of people you have, so maybe the sides of the room were scant.
Before our wedding we went to their Mother's Day brunch to get a feel for the room with a lot of people, the service, the food - I would recommend it! Also, your tasting will be amazing - they really outdo themselves.

Seriously, RUN, don't walk. Especially if you are getting a good price. We went WAY over budget on our hall to be at the Inn, and we don't regret it for a second
