inn at new hyde park Cocktail hour room

Has anyone heard anything? My friend went to look at it on Friday and now they are saying January the room will be finished...I was told October...Anyone hear anything or been there lately?

i was there in july in the smaller room (although it was NOT small at all) for a bridal shower ... i love that place! i havent heard anything tho ... i did take a peak in the main ballroom and it is very large and beautiful!

I have not heard a thing but I can't imagine why the date would constantly be getting pushed back so much. I would be so upset if I did not get the room promised for my CH - fuming actually b/c I picked this place because it was new.

I am going to set up an appt to visit. I have not been there since I signed my contract (other than to attend one showcase) and I had a few questions I wanted answered anyhow. Also, I can't remember the decor too well and I am starting to think details so it is a good time to visit!

I was there last week for my tasting (WONDERFUL) and was told to come back in a month and a half and the room would be finished. They said that I would have a choice of having my cocktail hour outside or in the new room. They are actually adding a spiral staircase and an elevator. He showed me the area but you can barely see it because it's covered in drapes. I am confident that it will be done in the next two months.

I just spoke to my BM and she said that they will be showing it at the fall showcase...not sure of the date though

I almost cried! It's the most amazing thing that I've ever seen.

I'm DEF having my CH indoors no matter HOW nice the weather is outside IM IN LOVE with that room!
