Inn at New Hyde Park food tasting

i have a question, does anyone know if they do a food tasting at the Inn @nhp before the wedding. They didnt mention it to me so i am not sure. We did eat at the restuarant before we booked (the hall paid) does that count?

I didn't book them but I think I remember them saying they do a tasting when I had checked them out.

We did a tasting. It was great. You go on a night that they have a wedding and they bring you tons of stuff from the cocktail hour. You can try all of the entree's also....maybe not whole portions but we ate so much. Really it was fantastic. I ate more that night than i got to eat at my wedding.

i spoke to the girl at the Inn and she said we come in on a Mon or Tues night and pick the menu in about a month or so.
She didnt mention anything about coming in during a wedding for a tasting. i am so confused.

My cousin got married here last year & raved about the food. I wasn't invited.

I had a food tasting before I booked, you can go in at anytime to the restaurant part and tell them that you are getting married there and would like a tasting.. They are very accommodating.

Yes, it counts when the hall pays for the food. Did you meet the chef too?

Hi...my daughter's wedding was there yesterday....don't worry about a thing....it was amazing in everyway....

Not to seem rude! But why would the Inn give you a food taste off of someone else's wedding menu. Especially if this is money they paid for their wedding not to help with a food taste

Fh and I had our food taste in he restaurant. We had a nice selection of entrees to try and loads of desserts. It was really good!
