Inn at New Hyde Park-Indoor ceremony

I am trying to decide if i should have my ceremony in my church or at the inn at new hyde park which is my RH. I saw a ceremony setup outside and fell INLOVE! its gorgeous..... they charge a fee and do alll the flowers and hang the swag down the asle its just sooo pretty... My dilema is i don't know what it looks like setup inside incase it rains

has anyone ever seen an indoor ceremony set up there???

this decision is so hard i can't make up my mind i love my church but its huge and i feel like it will look empty no matter what and the outdoor ceremony and the inhp is just so pretty..... any advice or thoughts would be helpful

the outdoor ceremony sounds beautiful! Maybe email ur BM to see if they can send you pix of the ceremony set up indoors or if you can, go see it in person. If you like both the indoor and outdoor options and you and your family are OK with not getting married in the church, then go for it! About the church, I don't think that it would feel empty - I feel that churches in general are very pretty and don't need too much decoration HTH

Well I am getting married this coming July 4th at the Inn @ NHP! So if it rains I can let you know what it was like. However if you have to make this decision soon if you want the church or not I would suggest you call Janine. I met with her to ask her about ceremony details/flowers etc and she really answered everything. Just ask they are overly willing to help. If you are having a big wedding the ceremony is in the ballroom if u have like over 200 I think. They use another room for the ceremony if it rains but it cant fit as many people. I think the place is amazing so if its inside, its inside but if u want the church book the church. But def call her she is amazing! And if it rains this July 4th I'll send u pics! hahaha

BUT it better not rain! lol
