Inn at New Hyde Park, menu included

Today I went to look at Inn at New Hyde Park (I know I thought I was done looking too). I thought it was really nice. I took a couple of pics they are horrible though, my fault. I'll post them in a few minutes.

Pros
Close for FI, me and our guests, Queens/Nassau border.
Room downstairs has 50 person minimum and it's really nice.
Amazing menu.
On Sunday's you have the option of a twilight wedding.
You are the only bride there. They only do 1 wedding.
It is being totally redone inside and out. It will have large garden area for pics, cocktail hour and it will have beautiful outdoor ceremony area.
Also they are building an inside chapel in case of rain.

Cons
BM I met with was okay. Did not really get the good feeling that I recieved from other BM's.
All the renovations are just on paper. You have to use your imagination a lot, kinda risky booking something based on imagination.
Not really any info or reviews of them on LIWeddings so I don't know how the food or service are.

Okay the pics are in my album. I don't think they'll be of that much help, they're not so good. I also included a pic of the larger ballroom.

My sister had my shower at the Inn at NHP a few months ago. The food was awesome, and the staff was very accomodating. I am not sure who my sister worked with, but she liked her very much. Let me know if you have any specific ?s.

Thanks for the photos. We booked last week for October 2007. We are in love with the current ballroom, and can't wait to see what the new construction will bring.
