we are having our wedding at The Inn at New Hyde Park. We have a budget, flowers are coming out to be more than we expected but nothing major that is going to be a real big deal. Anyway my question is, in the Grand Ballroom how would all small centerpieces look on the tables or a mix of medium and small. We thought since the room is so big, tall centerpieces would look better, but if we can save close to $1000 we wanted to see what other people thought.

I agree that tall CP's would look better. Which stinks, because I have always loved low CP's, I think they are very classy and romantic. However, I feel like I couldn't get away with small CP's in such a large room. We decided that we need to get tall CP's. Especially since the ceilings are so high!

you might want to post this on the BHB bc there are more Inn brides there that might be able to offer suggestions since they know the room.
