Inn at NHP Mini Review
I had the pleasure of attending a wedding last weekend at the Inn at NHP. First, let me say that it is gorgeous! Had I seen it when I was looking, it would've been a top contender. It had never occurred to me to go and I wish I would've gone to see it earlier. It's tastefully decorated, everything looks new and the outdoor area is beautiful. I'm sure you can get some great picks back there. You don't feel like you're close to a busy street at all.
The room was nice and large and had some uplighting, which gave it a nice glow. The dance floor was huge!! The bathrooms were pretty cool. Each stall had its own sink and everything looked brand new.
Cocktail hour was DELICIOUS. We had chicken scarpiello that was sooo good. Everything was fantastic, not one thing was mediocre. We would've ate more, but wanted to leave room for dinner.
As an app, we had fresh mozzarella, tomato with balsamic vinegar. Very fresh. For dinner I had the chicken romano, FH has the sea bass and FSIL had the salmon. We were all raving about it and made each other try the others food b/c it was so good.
There was a viennese hour and luckily for me, my seat was very close to the door so I practically had first dibs on all the dessert. I had a cannoli, rainbow cookie cake, cheesecake and some fondue. All were yummy. The best treat was that at the end of the night, they had a girl bagging zeppolis by the door...They tasted so good on the way home.
Girls who are having their reception there...your guests are going to LOVE it!! Hands down, best wedding I've been to. Yes, DJ and guests were awesome but the hall definitely made it an awesome experience!
