Re: INN BRIDES!!!
I haven't decided when to do it yet. FH thinks we should wait for a special occasion but I just want to do it already Although I am glad we waited this long -- if we didn't then the chef would have been differeour for our wedding day!

Re: INN BRIDES!!!
see, and we did ours already! I emailed Linda to get some more details and ask what that means for our wedding menu such as changes, possibiliites, etc.
Do you know if this change JUST happend? We had our tasting at the end of july.

Yea it's very recent.. See if you can get another tasting given the circumstances. I would totally do that!!

They changed chefs literally at the beginning of this month so I would definitely push for another tasting.

we are definitely going to! We are a year and 2 months away so i'm SURE they will be making whatever changes they may shortly. Still waiting on a response from Linda. She may not know how to answer at this point bc it's so recent.

Re: INN BRIDES!!!
I was just there for a wedding and I was way underwhelmed by the food. I tasted the steak, duck and salmon. The sides were horrible, the 'risotto' thing was like slop on the plate. The steak had no taste and the duck was not very good either - nothing orange tasting about it.

that is completely opposite of EVERYTHING I have ever heard about the food there. I've heard only wonderful things

haven't been on here much lately but yes, she wrote me back and said the menu will not be changing. However, FH and I will be going back to have a tasting with the new chef at some point.

Cocktail hour was fine - nothing to write home about. Dinner service on a large scale was just not good. Limp salad, cold pasta and an entree that was inedible. Maybe they were having a bad day but mashed potatoes shouldn't taste like they were from a box.

Maybe it was an off night? I'm super excited to have our reception there and would love to hear from anyone that's had their tasting with the new chef! Our wedding isn't until next December so we've got some time before our own tasting...wish I could have it tomorrow though.

We are super excited too! We had our tasting but looking forward to the one with the new chef. How do you get any better than someone who was at the Pierre hotel??
